Men’s Soccer Plays FDU to 1-1 Draw Sunday Afternoon

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> Saint Francis men's soccer played to a 1-1 draw against Northeast Conference opponent FDU on Sunday afternoon at Stokes Soccerplex.
 
>> The Red Flash move to 3-0-5 on the season and 1-0-1 in the NEC.

TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
The Red Flash got on the board first in the 21st minute as Dallan Schoenberger (Elizabethtown, Pa.) sent a high cross over to Mikey Chiha (Harrisburg, Pa.) at the top of the goal box for a one-touch finish.
 
FLASH MOMENT

Saint Francis led the second half offensively with a 5-2 advantage in shots but were not able to capitalize on any attempts. In the 76th minute, the Red Flash had a good scoring opportunity as freshman Joschi Schelb (Freiburg, Germany) saw his hard shot just a little bit left of FDU's goal.

>> Saint Francis and FDU split the shots 7-7, while the Red Flash held the 5-1 advantage in shots on goal and the Knights had the 7-4 edge in corner kicks.
