Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Men’s Soccer Sets Program Record Unbeaten Streak In Draw Against Le Moyne

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> Saint Francis men's soccer set a new program record for consecutive matches without a loss in Sunday afternoon's 1-1 draw at Le Moyne's Ted Grant Field.

>> The Red Flash move to 4-0-6 on the season and 2-0-2 in the NEC with eight points.

TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
The Red Flash got on the board first in the 30th minute as freshman Joschi Schelb (Freiburg, Germany) sent a cross to sophomore Charlie Lucero (Aurora, Colo.) who was able to head the ball in for his first collegiate career goal.

FLASH MOMENTS
One minute before Lucero's match opening goal, junior defenseman Torren Aikens (Baltimore, Md.) made a heroic save to prevent the Dolphins from opening scoring. Aikens kicked away a shot from a Le Moyne forward that was inches away from crossing the goal line.

The only shot in the second half from the Red Flash came in the 70th minute from Maximus Rigby (York, England). The junior collected a quick pass from Mikey Chiha (Harrisburg, Pa.) but was unable to finish his one touch shot as it was kicked away by a Dolphins' defenseman.

Despite playing a man down for most of the second half due to a red card, the Red Flash were able to hold on and earn a point on the road.

FLASH NUGGETS
>> Le Moyne held the advantage over Saint Francis in shots, 7-4 and shots on goal 3-1. The Red Flash kept the 4-0 edge in corner kicks.

>> Goalkeeper Jordaine Jaeger (Munich, Germany) registered one save in the 90 minutes.

>> Schelb collected his fifth assist of the season in the draw. The freshman leads the team with nine points.

>> Saint Francis remains as one of six undefeated teams in Division I.

>> With their sixth draw of the season, the Red Flash are now second for the most draws in a single season in program history. The most is seven by Michael Casper's 2012 team who finished 6-7-7 overall.
