TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
Freshman Joschi Schelb (Freiburg, Germany) found the back of the goal 20 minutes into the contest for the first score of the match and third of his career. Patrick Heron (Lauder, Scotland) sent a great cross to Tom Schellbach (Freiburg, Germany) who headed the ball to Schelb for a one-touch finish.
FLASH MOMENTS
The Red Flash and the Sharks were leveled at 1-1 for nearly 80 minutes. In the 80th minute, with Saint Francis pressing, LIU failed to get the ball out of the box. Maximus Rigby (York, England) took control and sent a pass to Heron who scored from inside the penalty box for the eventual match winner and his first goal of the season.

LIU was awarded a free kick with less than a minute left in the match about 10 yards from the penalty box. Goalkeeper Jordaine Jaeger (Munich, Germany) made the diving save to solidify the Red Flash's 2-1 victory.
