THE WORD ON MERRIMACK
The Warriors are 3-4 in NEC play. In their most recent match, they fell to FDU in three sets.
Julz Carlat leads Merrimack in both kills and digs, tallying 181 kills and 151 digs. Defensively, Marilyn Whitcavitch leads the Warriors in blocks with 31.
LAST TIME WE MET MERRIMACK
The Red Flash opened its conference schedule against Merrimack last month, falling in the fifth set by two points.
In the loss,
Skye Eicher and
Korrin Burns recorded the most kills with 15 each. Eicher also led the defensive efforts for the Red Flash, earning a solo and an assisted block.
Maggie Hogan led the Red Flash in digs with 22.
THE WORD ON STONEHILL
Currently, the Skyhawks have a 2-5 NEC record. Their most recent match was a non-conference match against Manhattan, where they lost in three sets. Their last conference match was against LIU on October 14, where they also fell in three sets.
Mia Bernadino leads Stonehill in kills with 160, averaging 1.98 kills per set. The Skyhawks' defense is led by Lauren McCloskey with eight solo and 60 assisted blocks so far this season. Kristen DeLorenzo leads in digs with 232.
LAST TIME WE MET STONEHILL
The Red Flash came out on top in its last meeting with the Skyhawks, winning in four sets in enemy territory.
Eicher led Saint Francis in kills in the win with 10 with
Kori McClure right behind her with nine kills.
Aubrey Deptula led the Red Flash defense with two solo blocks and three assisted blocks.
LAST TIME OUT
Saint Francis defeated CCSU in straight sets last weekend, moving to a 4-3 NEC record.
Eicher led in kills with 15 and tallied three service aces, earning NEC/Molten Player of the Week and Prime Performer. She also earned a double-double with 15 kills and 14 digs.
Ava Holden recorded a solo and an assisted block in the win.
