paced the women's team with a 2nd place finish, clocking in with a time of 18:35.6. It is the best finish by a Red Flash women's runner at the NEC Championships since Hannah Dorian in 2018. The was Helms' first NEC All-Conference finish in cross country.
Freshman
Anna Quackenbush (Mount Airy, Md.) finished seventh with a time of 19:03.2. Quackenbush earned her first All-NEC honor and was named the Northeast Conference Rookie of the Year for her finish.
Following behind Quackenbush was sophomore
Morgan McNaughton (Summerville, Pa.) in 13th with a time of 19:17.3. She was the final All-Conference honoree for the Red Flash.This was her first all-conference honor.
Senior
Monica Gregg (Henrietta, N.Y.) finished 16th with a time of 19:30.4. Junior
Emma Fleck (Pittsburgh, Pa.) rounded out the SFU scores, placing 33rd with a time of 20:30.3.
MEN'S FLASH NUGGETS
Daniel Kelly (Spring Mills, Pa.) was the leading runner for the men's team, finishing 44th with a time of 27:48.8.
Shane Curran (Philadelphia, Pa.) and
Andrew McGee (Canonsburg, Pa.) followed behind as the second and third runners to finish in 47th and 48th place, respectively.
The fourth Red Flash runner to cross the finish line was Joseph Piccirillo (Brockport, Pa.) in 54th place with a time of 28:37.6. Jack Flynn (Ashland, Pa.) rounded out SFU's top-five, at 68th place with a time of 29:30.1.

The Red Flash returns to B & D Acres for the second time this season to compete in the Red Flash Rally on Sunday, November 5. The women's race starts at 1:45 p.m. and the men's race will follow at 2:30 p.m.
