TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME

After a scoreless first hour, Pyle ripped off an incredible shot from way outside the box and placed it right over the head of the goalkeeper in the 69th minute to pull Saint Francis in front.

The Red Flash would hold off Le Moyne and close out the 1-0 win.

FLASH MOMENTS

Saint Francis generated several chances early on, nearly connecting on several crosses in front of the net.

Tomke Dziesiaty (Tornesch, Germany) nearly put the Red Flash on the board in the 28th minute when Rita Kendziora (Duncansville, Pa.) found her on a cross, but Dziesiaty's shot sailed high.

Saint Francis continued to knock on the door all throughout the second half as well. In the 57th minute, Miko almost put the Red Flash in front when she just missed a chance in front of the net created by Dziesiaty.

In the 69th minute, Saint Francis finally pulled in front after Lauren Pyle let off a screamer that snuck in over the goalkeeper's hand.

The Red Flash had a close call in the 87th minute when Le Moyne's Autumn Edwards put a strong shot on net, but Lauren Persichetty (Staten Island, N.Y.) stepped in front of it and cleared the danger.
