LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis University women's basketball ended its regular-season home slate with a 61-58 victory over LIU on Senior Night.

TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
The Sharks began the game with an 8-2 run before they took a 15-10 lead after the first quarter. In the second, LIU held a 24-16 lead with 3:54 remaining before Saint Francis scored the half's final eight points and tied the game at 24.
In the third quarter, LIU reestablished a five-point, 34-29 lead, with 5:50 remaining before Saint Francis produced a 17-5 run the remainder of the third quarter and took a 46-38 lead.
Out of the quarter break, Saint Francis produced an 8-2 run and opened a 54-40 lead with 6:40 remaining in the game. LIU responded with a 16-4 run and cut the deficit to 58-56 with 37 second remaining. After Saint Francis missed a three-point attempt, LIU missed an opportunity to take the lead with 20 seconds remaining. The Red Flash held a 61-58 lead with four second remaining and LIU was unable to get a game-tying shot attempt off.
FLASH NUGGETS
Turner recorded a career-high in points for the third game in a row after she scored 18 against Merrimack (Feb. 11) and 19 against St. Francis Brooklyn (Feb. 16). She produced the second 20-point scoring effort by a Red Flash player after Miller scored 22 against Sacred Heart (Jan. 16). Her 15 rebounds shattered her previous career-high of eighth set against Merrimack (Feb. 4).
Moore recorded her third double-double in a row and has double-digit rebounding performances in five of the last six games. She has 11 total double-digit point games this season and 12 double-digit rebounding games.
On her senior night, Miller produced her most points in the last six games. She shot at least 50-percent from the field for the sixth time this season.
