NEWARK, NJ. – Saint Francis University bowlers, Marissa Metcalfe and Mackenzie Keane gained the attention of the Northeast Conference (NEC) this week by earning an NEC Prime Performer mention after each of their performances at the NEC#3 this past weekend.
 
The team competed in best out of seven baker matches at the NEC#3 with four games on Saturday and three games on Sunday. The Red Flash had successful wins over St. Francis Brooklyn, Wagner, LIU and Fairleigh Dickinson, but came up short against Merrimack, Sacred Heart and Duquesne.
 
Wednesday's NEC mention is Metcalfe's third NEC Prime Performer of the season and Keane's sixth NEC weekly mention.
 
The Red Flash will next head to Hamilton, N.J. on Feb. 24-26 to take on the New Jersey Open, hosted by Fairleigh Dickinson.
