Women’s Basketball Falls at FDU, 39-63

TEANECK, N.J.  –  Saint Francis University women's basketball dropped its match at Fairleigh Dickinson on Thursday, 39-63.
 
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
» Aaliyah Moore led the Red Flash with 14 points, eight rebounds, one assist and two steals.
» Semaya Turner followed closely behind Moore with 11 points.
» The first quarter was a very close one, but the Knights gained a significant lead over the Red Flash in the second quarter to hold it for the rest of the game. Fairleigh Dickinson held the Red Flash to only having one lead in the game, which came in the first quarter at 6-4.
» The Knights earned eight three-pointers in Thursday's game.
 
TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
Despite a back-and-forth first quarter, the Knights notched a 14-0 run in the second quarter to gain a 26-11 lead over the Red Flash. Fairleigh Dickinson held its lead for the remainder of the game.

Juliana Gibson recorded her first career steal in Thursday's game against the Knights.

The Red Flash and Knights were almost evenly matched with points in the paint with Saint Francis having 22 and Fairleigh Dickinson earning 28.
