STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Saint Francis University women's basketball fell to Wagner, 72-57 in its final regular season game on Saturday.

Aaliyah Moore led the Red Flash on both ends of the floor on Saturday by registering a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds.

Destini Ward followed closely behind with 13 points on the day and added five boards, one block and two steals.
» The first quarter was a very close one, but the Seahawks chipped away to gain a lead over the Red Flash at the end of the first quarter and Wagner held it for the remainder of the game.
TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
The first quarter started off back-and-forth early on between the Seahawks and Red Flash featuring two tied scores. However, with the Red Flash up 11-7 in the first quarter, Wager notched a 9-0 run to end the first quarter ahead at 16-11. The Seahawks continued to build on its lead in the first half to lead by as much as 15 points in the second quarter.
Despite the loss, The Red Flash cut the deficit to 11 on three different occasions in the second half. However, the Seahawks were able to respond with scoring each time the Red Flash came within reach.
FLASH NUGGETS
Moore's double-double in Saturday's game was her eighth this season and in her career.
In addition, Moore's 19 points was a new game high for the junior.

Saint Francis will now turn its attention to the NEC Tournament. The Red Flash will compete on Monday, March 6 with time and location still to be determined.
