TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
The Terriers started off the match with a 7-3 run to never allow the Red Flash to lead in the first set. St. Francis Brooklyn claimed set one, 25-19. The Terriers continued this momentum from claiming set one, to be able to go on and claim the next two sets for the straight set win.
FLASH MOMENTS
The Red Flash took its first lead of the game in the second set thanks to a 4-0 run, featuring a service ace from Schmidt. However, the Terriers quickly responded with a 6-0 run to regain the lead and hold it for the remainder of the second set. St. Francis Brooklyn claimed set two, 25-19.
The Red Flash got on the board first in the third set with a 3-1 run, seeing back-to-back kills from Deardorff. However, once again the Terriers responded with another run of their own to gain the lead and hold it for the remainder of the game. The Terriers earned the third and final set, 25-19.
FLASH NUGGETS
With the Red Flash down 22-13 in the final set, the team recorded a 6-2 run to start a bit of a comeback. However, the Terriers were eventually able to convert the points needed to close out the set.
