LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis University women's tennis fell 4-3 at West Liberty on Saturday afternoon.
Doubles
West Liberty narrowly took the doubles point with victories in the No. 2 and No. 3 matches. The Hilltoppers took a commanding 6-0 win in the No. 2 match and a 7-6 (8-6) victory in the No. 3 match.
Bente Vandeputte and
Dominique Yeo took a victory in the No. 1 match 7-6 (7-4).
Singles
Saint Francis and West Liberty split the singles matches, which led to the Hilltoppers' match victory. Vandeputte won 6-4, 6-4 in the No. 1 match,
Nagisa Miyake won 6-0, 6-3 in the No. 3 match and
Sydney Tamondong won 6-3, 6-4 in the No. 5 match.
