FLASH WOMEN NUGGETS
The women produced 34 top-five finishes and 10 event victories on Saturday.
The Red Flash swept the top four places in the long jump and the top five spots in the triple jump.
Madeline Murphy took the top spot in the long jump with a season best leap of 5.71m and finished first in the triple jump with a mark of 12.09m.
Jenna Beitel was second in the long jump (5.14m) and triple jump (11.15m). Third was
Marie-Therese Cooper in the horizontal jumps with a leap of 4.69m in the long jump and 11.07m in the triple jump.
Sophomore
Tesslyn Helms picked up an event victory in the 1500m run with a season best time of 4:54.12.
Freshman
Paige Drake posted a career best time of 12.35 in the 100m dash to place first.
Senior
Gabrielle Stanavich took the top time of 14.47 in the 100m hurdles.
Saint Francis cruised to win the 4x100m relay with Drake,
Maria Ferraro,
Brooke Barner and
Brooke Long to post a time of 49.11.
The women also won the 4x400m relay with
Mariclare Anderson,
Emma Fleck,
Monica Gregg and Stanavich crossing the finish line at 4:09.91.
FLASH MEN NUGGETS
The men recorded 31 top-five finishes and nine event victories in Loretto.
Senior
Tyler Napora secured a victory in the 3000m steeplechase to open the day on the track with his time of 10:15.95.
Sophomore
Dustin Hyde won the discus with a mark of 46.54m and then took second in the shot put with a toss of 16.19m. Senior
Nickolas Hyde took first in the shot put with a mark of 16.62m.
In the long jump,
Caleb Nelson led the Red Flash with a leap of 6.75m.
Kameron Stevens took third with his mark of 6.44m.
Jasir Parker placed fourth in the event with a mark of 6.44m. Parker also placed second in the triple jump with a mark of 14.54m.
Senior
Ryan Harman picked up his first collegiate victory in the pole vault with a clearance of 4.05m.
Saunders won the 100m dash with a time of 10.66. Baker finished third in the event with a time of 10.78.
