Men’s Soccer Draws Fordham in Afternoon Battle

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> The Saint Francis University men's soccer team tied, 1-1, at home against nonconference Fordham Sunday afternoon.

TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
In the 68th minute, the Red Flash capitalized on a corner kick. Julian Jakopovic (Stuttgart, Germany) launched the ball to the top of the penalty box where Torren Aikens (Baltimore, Md.) headed the ball in to level the match, 1-1. The score was Aikens' first goal of his collegiate career.

FLASH MOMENT
Jordaine Jaeger (Munich, Germany) made a diving block to prevent a second effort goal from Fordham in the 13th minute of the match after a failed Fordham corner kick attempt.

>> For the match, Fordham held the advantage 16-10 in shots, while Saint Francis had the 7-6 edge in corner kicks.
