Colletta Ozbey (Pittsburgh, Pa.) nearly got the Red Flash on the board in the 43rd minute but was denied by the goalkeeper.
In the 73rd minute, Persichetty put one in the back of the net for Saint Francis to cut into the deficit.
The Red Flash would register four more shot attempts before the final whistle, including one on target from Noa Dorah (Takoma Park, Md.).
