ANNAPOLIS, M.D. – Saint Francis University men's tennis dropped its match to Navy 2-5 while the women's team lost 0-7.
Women's: Saint Francis 0, Navy 7
Doubles
The Midshipmen won all three matches en route to earning the doubles point. The pairing of
Kally Kadzinski and
Valeria Vinces had the closest margin of defeat with a 6-4 loss in the No. 3 match.
Singles
Navy won all six of the singles matches to earn the sweep on the day. All but one of those matches were won in straight sets, with
Sara Jankovic winning a set in the No. 3 match.
Men's: Saint Francis 2, Navy 5
Doubles
The Midshipmen won all three doubles matches for the doubles point.
Kevin Kruzel and
Zachary Palko were the duo that had the slimmest loss falling 4-6 from the No. 3 spot.
Singles
Navy won four of the six singles contests to lock up a 5-2 win.
Alan Gonzalez and
Gregory Troyan claimed the two Red Flash victories, winning from the No. 3 and No. 6 slots respectively. Troyan's victory was in straight sets.
