FLASH QUOTE
"It's really good to come out and win tonight. After seeing CCSU yesterday, they made some really good changes, and I thought they pushed us. I'm glad that we held on strong to our program belief that we run fast, we hit hard, we serve tough, and I'm glad that we were able to put that all together for night two." – head coach Sara Spielvogel on the win and the team's resiliency

TURNING POINT
The Red Flash held onto an early lead throughout the fourth set. Up nine, Hogan sent the ball past CCSU's block attempt to earn match point. The Blue Devils narrowed Saint Francis' lead to 24-16, but a hard ball from the middle at the hands of Hogan gave the Red Flash the win.

Hogan put the ball just inside on the Blue Devils' side for the double-digit lead, before two errors by CCSU caused the visitors to take a timeout. Later, Hogan tallied another kill to earn set point, with Laney Wilson dealing the kill to win the set.

At a close 17-14 in the third set, the Red Flash went on an eight-point run to win the third set. Hogan tallied a kill to begin the run. After an attack error by the Blue Devils, Burns hit the ball off of the hands of a back-row player, drawing a timeout from CCSU.
