TURNING POINT OF THE GAME

HOW IT HAPPENED

The two sides traded chances in the opening 10 minutes, with Lauren Pyle having her shot in the fifth minute saved.

Sawich made a save on a shot in the eighth minute to keep things level early.

Pyle, Korpics, Daniëlle Goedhart, Evangelia Barakos and Calire Scarpin would all fire shots on frame throughout the opening half, but no one could get one past the keeper.

After a scoreless first half, Tomke Dziesiaty nearly put the Red Flash in front 58 minutes in on a volley that hit the post and ricocheted out of bounds

Sawich made two saves in the final 12 minutes of the match to keep Le Moyne off the board.

Alyssa Mella nearly found the winner in the 87th minute but could not bury her chance. Pyle nearly won the match for the Red Flash with 11 seconds left. She fired a shot from roughly 27 yards out and nearly found the back of the net, but Le Moyne's goalkeeper tipped the shot over the crossbar and out for a corner.

The Red Flash couldn't get the corner off quickly enough to get something productive out of it, ending the match level with the Dolphins.
