Mercyhurst is 2-12 overall, with a 1-3 conference record after splitting with Stonehill and falling to FDU.
Paige Miller leads the Lakers with 147 kills. They are led by Alia Mastromatteo in assists at 161. Alyssa Krause leads in aces with 18. Kelsie Gaiter-Davis has 138 digs to lead Mercyhurst. Kaitlin Murphy leads the team in blocks with 32.
LAST TIME WE MET THE LAKERS
The Red Flash are 0-5 against the Lakers, but the two teams have not faced each other since 1990. Since Mercyhurst joined the NEC and Division I this academic year, this will be the first time Saint Francis will play Mercyhurst in conference action.
LAST TIME OUT
Saint Francis earned the series sweep of CCSU at home last weekend, winning in three sets on Friday and in four on Saturday.
Korrin Burns led the series in kills with 33.
Kori McClure tallied nine service aces, including seven on Saturday. She also led the team in digs with a combined 19.
Drew Wallech led Saint Francis with six total blocks.
Alexandra Sappia earned 80 assists, breaking 1000 career assists.
Burns, McClure and Sappia received NEC Prime Performer nods for their efforts against the Blue Devils.
UP NEXT
The Red Flash will host FDU on October 25 and 26 at 6 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively. Saturday's match will be the team's annual Dig Pink fundraiser.
