LORETTO, Pa. - Saint Francis men's soccer won their third home match in a row in a 3-1 victory over Chicago State on Sunday afternoon.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>> Fabian Wagner, Andre Isreal and Rodrigo Mendes netted the goals for the Red Flash in the match.

TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
Chicago State got things started in the 16th minute with a goal from deep inside the box.
The Red Flash answered quickly with two goals in two minutes to take the lead in the 24th minute.
Mendes slammed the door shut on the win with a goal in the 90th minute.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Red Flash nearly opened the scoring in the sixth minute after Rodrigo Mendes took a shot that required an excellent save to keep out.
The Cougars found the opener in the 16th minute after navigating a shot into the back of the net through a crowded box.
Wagner and Isreal responded in a big way to conceding first, scoring a goal each in the 22nd and 24th minute to gain the advantage. Wagner was involved in Isreal's goal as well.
Saint Francis would hold a 2-1 lead at the intermission.
Right out of the half, Niclas Becker made a fantastic save in close to keep the lead intact. Alex De Nittis nearly doubled the lead shortly thereafter with a long shot that just missed wide.
The middle portion of the half turned into a track meet between the two sides, but neither could generate many chances.
Schelb tried to bag the insurance goal in the 87th minute but his shot was saved.
The Red Flash secured an insurance goal with nine seconds left to nail down the win.
FLASH NUGGETS
Isreal, Schellbach and Aschenbroich recorded their first points of the season with their assists. It is Aschenbroich's first point since Oct. 16, 2022 and Schellbach's first point since Oct. 19, 2023.
Isreal scored his first goal since Aug. 24, 2023.
Wagner has recorded back-to-back matches with four or more points.
Saint Francis are unbeaten in their last 11 home matches against NEC opponents.
The come-from-behind win marks the first for Saint Francis since Sept. 19, 2021 when they came from behind to beat Canisius 2-1.
