TURNING POINT
Saint Francis started the fifth set in front, but FDU tied the set at 7-7, taking the lead on a hard kill on the right. Burns landed the ball in the back middle of the Knights' side of the court, retying the set, now at eight apiece. FDU advanced to 10-8 before the Red Flash took a timeout. Alexandra Sappia notched a kill to cut the lead to one, but back-to-back kills by FDU had Saint Francis taking its final timeout. An ace by the Knights' libero widened the gap to 13-9, but two errors by FDU kept the set close. A kill by the visitors set up match point, with a Saint Francis error giving FDU the win.

FLASH MOMENTS
Up 22-18 in the first set, Kori McClure got the ball past the libero, inching Saint Francis ahead. On the left, McClure and Wallech were solid at the net, blocking the ball for set point. FDU attempted to stop the Red Flash's momentum with a kill of their own, but McClure sent the ball off the hands of a back-row player, earning the set win.

After the Knights won the second and third set, the Red Flash were able to come out on top in the fourth. Coming out of a Saint Francis timeout with a 23-20 lead, Laney Wilson attacked the ball, hitting the hands of an FDU player and landing outside. Raegan Rosi served the ball, hitting the net and landing on the Knights' side to tie the match at two sets apiece.
