Football Falls to Robert Morris

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Saint Francis University football fell short of the road to in-state opponent Robert Morris, 17-0.

Turning Points of the Game
Robert Morris started the scoring on a one-yard rushing touchdown in a fourth-and-goal situation and opened a 7-0 lead just over two minutes remaining in the first. The Colonials added to the lead with a 43-yard on their next drive to open a 10-0 lead.
 
Both teams began the second half with five empty possessions before Robert Morris added its second touchdown on a one-yard run to open a 17-0 lead with 16 seconds remaining in the third. After a scoreless fourth quarter, Robert Morris clinched its shutout victory.

Aidan Cirulli's 406 punt yards are the fifth-most in program history. He had a 57-yard long and now has a conference-high 10 punts of at least 50 yards.
 
Swaim recorded the second double-digit tackling effort by a Red Flash player this season. Trey McLeer recorded 10 tackles at Eastern Michigan.
 
Geno Calgaro has started the last two games and had nine total tackles in each game. He has 25 tackles in the last three games.
