NEW BRITAIN, Conn.- Saint Francis men's soccer will look to strengthen their chances at a Northeast Conference (NEC) Tournament birth when they head to Connecticut for a match with Central Connecticut State on Sunday afternoon.
Saint Francis So Far In 2024
Saint Francis enters the match at 5-5-2 and 3-1-1 in the NEC after a third straight home victory.
Joschi Schelb leads the squad in goals and points with seven goals and 19 points. Schelb leads the NEC in points and is second in goals.
Fabian Wagner has also been a big offensive contributor, tallying 16 points from six goals and four helpers so far this year.
Niclas Becker has made 26 saves on the year, maintains a 1.28 goals against average and holds a .743 save percentage.

The Blue Devils enter the match at 0-12-1 on the year and 0-5-0 in the NEC.
Joey Tata and Zane Brown share the team lead in goals with two apiece. Ethan Agyare-Danso leads CCSU in assists with three.
Michael Pinoncely and Mick Sipples have split time in goal for CCSU this season. The Blue Devils maintain a 2.92 goals against average and a .627 save percentage.

Saint Francis and CCSU last met on Oct. 8, 2023 in a match the Red Flash won 1-0 thanks to a late Alvaro Planas winner in the 84th minute.
