LORETTO, Pa. – Women's volleyball received NEC/Molten Defensive Player of the Week and three Prime Performers this week, the conference announced Tuesday.
Drew Wallech earned NEC/Molten Defensive Player of the Week. She is joined by Kori McClure and Alexandra Sappia as Prime Performers this week.
In Saturday's win over FDU, Wallech set two career highs in kills and total blocks, with 12 kills and seven blocks. She also had a .733 attack percentage in the win.
The senior recorded 20 kills, 11 blocks, and three aces on the weekend.
McClure posted a solid weekend, earning Prime Performer for her second time this season.
The outside hitter tallied 31 kills, five assisted blocks and 17 digs. She also earned a .522 attack percentage in Friday's five-set loss.
Sappia earned 104 assists, five aces, three kills, three assisted blocks and 15 digs against the Knights. On Saturday, her 53 assists set a new career high.
This is the fourth consecutive Prime Performer nod for the setter.
Saint Francis will return to action on November 1 and 2, facing Stonehill on the road.
