Women's Tennis Splits Dual Matches. Defeat Binghamton, Fall To Buffalo

Buffalo, N.Y. – The Saint Francis University women's tennis team split their two dual matches on Saturday afternoon. The Red Flash lost 5-2 to Buffalo and defeated Binghamton 7-0 for their first conference win of the season. 

Match One Results: Saint Francis 2, Buffalo 5.  

Doubles 
The Bulls took wins in the No. 1 and 3 doubles slots to secure the doubles point.  

Reagen Mangan and Sara Jankovic won their match in the No. 2 spot 6-4. 

Singles 
Saint Francis earned wins from No. 1, No. 3 and No. 4 singles matches against a Buffalo team that had not lost a singles match in either of their previous two dual matches. 

Diana Zuba earned a 6-3, 6-3 win in the No. 1 position to earn her 10th singles win of the season. 

Mangan won her singles match in the No. 3 match 6-3, 7-6 (7-1) for her third singles win of 2024. 

Match Two Results: Saint Francis 7, Binghamton 0.  

Doubles 
The Red Flash won all three doubles matches to secure the doubles point.  

Zuba and Dasha Chichkina won the No. 1 doubles match 6-1 for win number 10 as a pair. 

Mangan and Jankovic made it two-for-two in their doubles matches on the day with a 6-2 win in the No. 2 spot. 

Kally Kadzinski and Kelly Dowuona won their 11th doubles match of the year in the No. 3 match with a 6-3 victory. 

Singles 
Saint Francis swept the singles matches as well to make it 10-for-10 overall in the match. 

Zuba earned her team-leading 11th win of 2024 with a 6-4, 6-4 win in the No. 1 spot. 

Chichkina secured double digit wins in her rookie year with a 7-5, 6-3 win in the No. 2 match. 

Mangan made it four-for-four wins on the day with a 6-0, 6-2 win in the No. 3 match. 

Dowuona won her match in the No. 4 spot 6-3, 2-6, 1-0 (10-1) to make it nine singles wins this year. 

Kadzinski claimed victory in the No. 5 slot with a 6-0, 6-1 win to clinch her first double-digit win season. 

Morgan Tuffs capped off the day with a 6-1, 6-2 win in the No. 6 match to improve to 7-2 on the season.
