FLASH NUGGETS
Cranford has recorded double figures in five straight games. The freshman became the second player under head coach
Rob Krimmel to register 20 points in a game against a Power 5 team, joining Landon Moore, who had 25 points at No. 25 Miami three years ago to the day. He becomes the 12th freshman under Krimmel to have 20 points in a game and the 21 points are the 11th most by a freshman under the coach.
Clayville recorded 10+ points for the second straight game and the fifth time this season. It is the second time he has posted back-to-back 10+ point games after notching the achievement in his first two collegiate games. It was also his second double-figure point game against a Power 5 team after registering 11 points at Clemson on November 8.
Kelly finished with eight points, while Webb posted six points and seven rebounds. Webb (Arlington, Va.) and Harris (Annapolis, Md.) returned to their DMV roots.
After getting injured in the DMV at Georgetown on November 23,
Valentino Pinedo returned against Maryland, also in the DMV, after missing four games. The junior had an assist and two rebounds in 10 minutes.
It was the sixth time under Krimmel that the team allowed 100 points in a game and the first since December 18, 2021, at Illinois.
