LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis University football announced its 15 dates and times for the 2024 spring schedule. The schedule features 14 practices, two that will host junior days, and its spring game. All dates and times are subject to change.
 
Saint Francis has its two junior days set for Saturday, April 6 at 9 a.m. and Saturday, April 13 at 11 a.m. The Red Flash spring game is scheduled for Saturday, April 20 at 4 p.m.
 
The 2024 spring season begins on Tuesday, March 19 at 6 p.m. and marks the first of five practices in March. The first of nine practices in April is scheduled for Wednesday, April 3 at 6 p.m.
 
The Red Flash coaching staff features two new additions ahead of the 2024 spring season – defensive coordinator Jacob Craig and an offensive line coach to be named in early March.
 
The roster feature key returning player Eddie Bierals, who received All-Northeast Conference First Team honors on the defensive line. Last season, quarterback Nick Whitfield, Jr. was notably selected FCS National Freshman of the Week, NEC Player of the Week and NEC Rookie of the Week on Oct. 30 after his first collegiate start.
 
Wide receiver Casey McKinney and defensive back DaMario Crawford return after they each earned one NEC weekly honor last season.
 
The 2024 season kicks off on Saturday, Aug. 31 against Dayton and the schedule features two FBS opponents, Kent State and Eastern Michigan, in the first four weeks. Game times for the season are still to be determined.
