DAYTON, Ohio. – The Saint Francis University men's and women's tennis teams both dropped their respective matches against Dayton on Sunday.
Men's: Saint Francis 0, Dayton 4.
Doubles
The Red Flash fell short in both the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles matches against the Flyers to drop the doubles point.
The No. 2 match saw Alan Gonzalez and Kevin Kruzel pick up the lone win of the morning for Saint Francis in a 6-3 victory. The win marked Kruzel's 11th in doubles on the season.
Singles
Saint Francis dropped the singles point after losing the No. 1, No. 3 and No. 5 matches.
Zachary Palko won the lone set of the day for the Red Flash in a 6-0 win in his first set of the No. 6 match.
Women's: Saint Francis 0, Dayton 4.
Doubles
The Red Flash dropped the the doubles point with 7-5 and 6-3 losses from the No. 1 and 3 slots respectively. Reagen Mangan and Sara Jankovic won their second match in as many days and third match in a row from the No. 2 spot with a 6-3 victory.
Kelly Dowuona and Kally Kadzinski' loss in the No. 3 match was their first as a pair, having been 7-0 before losing to the Flyers.
Singles
Losses from the No. 3, No. 4 and No. 6 matches saw the Red Flash fall short against the Flyers, but the matches that went unfinished were close.
Diana Zuba, Mangan and Dowuona were each tied 1-1 before their matches were called.

Both Red Flash squads will head to Hilton Head Island, S.C. to play a combined seven matches from Mar. 4 to Mar. 8. The men will play three matches and the women will play four.
