WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
>>Saint Francis University men's volleyball took a straight set win over Tusculum in the Red Flash's first home match in 43 days on Monday (25-15, 25-23, 25-22).
>>Michael Mosbacher racked up 10 kills, eight digs and three service aces, all team-highs. Brady Stump was right behind him in kills with 9.
>>Nathan Zini got it done offensively and defensively as well, recording seven kills, six digs, and three blocks.
TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
The Red Flash took the first two sets and went into set three with the chance at a sweep. It would start out with the teams tied at 11 apiece, but Saint Francis would proceed to go on a 7-2 run to change the momentum. The team held onto the lead for the rest of the way, and Mosbacher's 10th kill helped wrap up the match with a 25-22 set win.
FLASH MOMENTS
The opening set was controlled by the Red Flash. After a close 8-6 start, the team would outscore the Pioneers 17-9 thanks to an offense that recorded 15 kills and a hitting percentage of .481. Stump's fifth kill of the set helped seal the set one win, 25-15.
The second set was a close back and forth battle. Saint Francis got out to a 13-9 lead, but Tusculum rallied to tie it up at 17. The teams would exchange points until it became a 23-23 tie going into the final serves. With the chance to go up 2-0, the Red Flash scored the next two points and Mosbacher notched a kill for set point.
FLASH NUGGETS
In set three, sophomore Brayden Kuruzovich tallied 14 assists and helped lead the offense to a .375 hitting percentage.
Brayden Gall subbed in for set three and continued having the hot hand, racking up four kills on attacks. Over the last three matches, the freshman middle blocker has recorded 14 kills on 20 attacks.
Sam Lane registered seven kills on nine attacks, giving him a hitting percentage of .778.

Men's Volleyball will face No. 10 Penn State in two matches Mar. 16-17. The first match on the 16th will be at DeGol Arena 5:00 p.m. and the following match on the 17th will take place at the Nittany Lions' Rec Hall at 3:00 p.m.
