NORTH EASTON, Mass. – Saint Francis University softball earned a 12-3 run-rule victory in six innings to start its series against Stonehill.

TURNING POINTS OF THE GAME
» After three scoreless innings to begin the game, Saint Francis broke through in the fourth after Nash drove in
Ashley Wruble with an RBI single.
Annabelle Farmer doubled the lead with a bases-loaded walk before Aubry hit a bases-clearing three-run triple for a 5-0 lead.
» Marsden followed with a single that drove in Aubry and Marsden scored in the next at-bat for a 7-0 lead.
Ashley Orischak capped off the scoring with another run while Wruble was caught in a rundown.
» Stonehill got one run back in the bottom of the fourth after an infield single and cut the deficit to 8-1.
» With two outs in the sixth,
Kaylie Walters drove in Aubry for a 9-1 lead followed two batters later by a Ulam three-run home run and 12-1 Red Flash lead.
» The Skyhawks added two runs in the bottom of the sixth on an RBI double and sacrifice fly to cut the deficit to 12-3.
Olivia Kolowitz produced a fly ball to end the sixth and clinch Saint Francis' run-rule victory over Stonehill.

» Marsden became the third player in program history to top 500-career strikeouts and now stands at 503. She tied a season-high with her nine strikeouts in the game.
» Ulam tied a program record for putouts with 1,073 in her career. She also took the conference lead with 23 RBIs after her three-run homer. Ulam now has four consecutive multi-hit games.
» Nash had her third three-hit game of the season and has a team-high nine multi-hit efforts.
» Aubry recorded her fourth multi-hit game of the season and third in a row.
