LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis University softball earned a series sweep of LIU after a 9-1 run-rule victory. The Red Flash outscored the Sharks 19-6 in the series.

Ashley Orischak started the scoring when she was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the second inning. Baker followed with her pinch-hit three-run double that opened a 4-0 lead.
» Two batters later, Ulam hit her two-run home run and extended the lead to 6-0 in the second.
» LIU got one run back in the fourth inning on a double and cut the deficit to 6-1.
» Hernandez followed in the fifth inning with a two-run home run that extended the lead to 8-1.
» With two outs in the sixth inning, Ulam hit a walk-off double to clinch the run-rule victory and series sweep.

» Saint Francis started 9-0 in conference play for the fourth time in program history.
» The Red Flash have seven players who have appeared in all-nine conference games hitting over .300 in conference play. Orischak (.529), Aubry (.524) and Ulam (.500) are all hitting over .500.
