Last Time Out
Saint Francis dropped its four games at the Adam Brown Memorial Shamrock Classic hosted by Central Arkansas. After five scoreless innings against Chattanooga to start the weekend, the Mocs broke through to defeat the Red Flash 5-0. Saint Francis followed with an 11-10 loss in the eighth inning to Central Arkansas. It was the third time Saint Francis scored double-digit runs this season. The Red Flash followed on Sunday with their first run-rule defeat 13-4 in five innings against Chattanooga. The weekend concluded with a 2-1 loss to Central Arkansas after the Bears took the one-run lead in the fifth inning.Â

Scouting Arkansas-Pine Bluff
The Golden Lions hold a 6-8 record this season and is 3-6 against NCAA Division I opponents. Amari Broughton leads the program with a .421 batting average and adds four doubles, one home run and eight RBIs. Jada Carhee follows close behind with a .419 batting average with 10 runs scored, three doubles and eight RBIs. Kayla Adams leads the pitching staff with a 1.37 ERA and has 58 strikeouts with just four walks in 46.0 innings pitched. Arkansas-Pine Bluff was selected to finish last (sixth) in the SWAC West in the Preseason Poll and was 11th out of 12 program in the SWAC overall.

All-Time vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff
Saint Francis and Arkansas-Pine Bluff will face off for the first time in program history. The Lions will also be the first SWAC opponent for the Red Flash since a 5-0 win over Grambling State in 2013.

Saint Francis travels to Fayetteville, Ark. for the Razorback Rumble hosted by nationally ranked Arkansas. The Red Flash will face four different opponents in the five-game weekend, headlined by two games against Nebraska.
