EASTON, Pa. – Saint Francis University women's tennis picked up one last regular season win before the NEC Championships with a 7-0 victory over Lafayette on Wednesday, 7-0. The Red Flash are now 11-11 on the year.Â
DoublesÂ
The Red Flash won the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches to claim the doubles point.Â
Kally Kadzinski and Kelly Dowuona won their match in the No. 2 slot, 6-3. The pair are now 10-3 together on the year and have won 14 and 18 doubles matches this season respectively. Â
Gretta Rhodes and Marie Discini won the No. 3 doubles matches in a 6-4 victory. They have now won four matches as a pair and seven total doubles matches each.Â
SinglesÂ
The Red Flash won all six singles matches to secure the sweep of the match.Â
Diana Zuba won the No. 1 match 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (8-6). It was her 21st singles victory of the season, the most in the NEC.Â
Dowuona cruised to a victory in the No. 2 match in a 6-0, 6-2 win. She is now 15-7 in singles action on the year.Â
Sara Jankovic also had an emphatic victory with a 6-0, 6-1 win in the No. 3 slot. Jankovic picked up her 11th singles win of the season. Â
Kadzinski won 6-0, 7-6 (7-4) in the No. 4 match for her eight singles win on the year. Â
Valeria VInces picked up a 6-1, 6-2 victory in the No. 5 match for her 12th singles win of the season and her third consecutive. Â
Nagisa Miyake won the No. 6 match in a 6-3, 7-6 (7-5) result to improve to 14-5 in singles on the year.Â
