FLASH WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD NUGGETS 
The women's team notched 15 top-eight finishes at the meet.

Caroline Fyock finished second in shot put with a mark of 12.32m. She also placed fifth in hammer throw with a throw of 40.75m.

Margaret Fox took second in javelin with a throw of 31.80m. Carmela Petrignani followed behind in third with a mark of 30.13m.

Morgan McNaughton clocked in a time of 18:50.81 to take second in the 5000m. Claire Oliver finished eighth in the same event with a time of 19:42.99.

Rhoda Alaban-Tafon crossed the finish line in third in the 400m dash with a time of 56.69.

Marie-Therese Cooper placed third in long jump with a mark of 5.22m.

Emma Fleck finished fourth in the 800m dash with a time of 2:18.50.

Gianna Anderson had a jump of 10.56m to take fifth in the triple jump invite.

Brooke Long took fifth in the other triple jump with a mark of 11.07m.

Marlena Jacobs tied for fifth in the pole vault invite with a clearance of 3.48m.

Monica Gregg placed sixth in the 800m run invite with a time of 2:16.84.

Josilyn Wehner finished sixth in the javelin invite with a throw of 34.51m.

Maria Ferraro clocked in a sixth place finish in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.27.

Gabriella del Pielago, Paige Drake, Sydney Rush and Alaban-Tafon round out the event finishes with a sixth place finish in the 4x200 relay with a time of 1:43.87
