LORETTO, Pa. – Women's volleyball coach Sara Spielvogel has added to the coaching staff with the hiring of Raunak Doshi.
"I am profoundly excited about the opportunity to work at Saint Francis University, where I look forward to inspiring and being inspired by a talented and ambitious group of student-athletes. I am eager to learn more about our student-athletes and supporting them in achieving their goals to becoming the successful individuals they desire to be," Doshi said. "I want to thank Coach Sara Spielvogel, Director of Athletics James Downer, Senior Associate Athletic Director Lisa Swope, our Friars, and the whole staff for this incredible opportunity."
Doshi joins the Red Flash after spending time as the Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach at Moravian and the Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach at Arcadia, both since 2021. In his role at both schools, he assisted in recruiting, budgeting, practice planning and statistical breakdowns.
"We are very excited to welcome Raunak to our Red Flash Family! He has an eye for detail and is excellent at making sure all the little things are being done properly. He is great with analytical breakdown and finding inefficiencies," Spielvogel said. "We have been looking to break through into our conference championship game; Raunak has the skill set that will allow us to take a deeper look at what we are doing and help us level up."
Saint Francis begins its 2024 season at the Towson-Morgan State Invitational on August 30-31, facing Duquesne at 10 a.m. on the 30th in their match.
