Saint Francis Field Hockey Falls At Miami (Ohio)

TURNING POINTS
Miami scored a pair of goals in the first six minutes of the match and four before halftime to go on for a 5-0 win and its seventh-straight win against Saint Francis.

FLASH MOMENTS
Sofia Marciano registered her first career shot in the 28th minute, but the Miami goalkeeper thwarted that attempt. Consu de Castro, who had two goals in the season-opening 3-2 win against Ball State on Friday, had her scoring chance stopped in the 33rd minute, and Madison Waldspurger had her shot blocked in the 44th minute.

FLASH NUGGETS
DiGenova posted 27 saves in the first two games after turning away 19 chances on Friday. The 19 saves were the fourth most in single-game program history. 

The Red Flash started a campaign 1-1 for the fifth time in program history. Mackenzie Allessie's two-game start matches that of her predecessor, Maria Bettiana Ceretta, who also won her first game as a head coach but lost her second match.
