Kori McClure notched a kill from the attack line. After an error by the Eagles, Burns earned a kill off the hands of an Eastern Michigan player. Eastern Michigan went on a three-point run of their own, ending the match.

Laney Wilson earned a block to tie the set at 23 apiece before Eastern Michigan took home the set.
