Binghamton, N.Y.- Saint Francis men's and women's tennis continued their fall 2024 campaign with impressive performances at the NEC Individuals tournament this past weekend from Sept. 20 to Sept. 22.  

Three Red Flash doubles teams reached the A final, while three singles players reached the A semifinals. 

The men's doubles A final was an all-Saint Francis affair. The matchup was between the pairing of Tyler Nguyen and Mathis Tremblay, and the tandem of Alan Gonzalez and Kevin Kruzel. Nguyen and Tremblay won the match to claim the tournament crown. 

Nguyen and Gonzalez both reached the A semifinals in men's singles.  

Kevin Titus Suresh won the C men's singles flight, going 3-0 in his singles matches at the tournament. 

Nguyen, Gonzalez, Tremblay, Kruzel, Titus Suresh, Noah Potts and Beau Welker all won multiple matches at the event. 

Nguyen and Tremblay are now 10-1 as a pair this fall, while Gonzalez and Kruzel are 6-1 when teaming together.  

On the women's side, Diana Zuba and Dasha Chichkina made it all the way to the women's doubles A final before falling short to Mercyhurst. 

Zuba also made the women's singles A semifinals and went on to win the third place match. The sophomore went 4-1 in singles matches at the event, bringing her overall singles record to 9-2. 

Chichkina made the quarterfinals of the A flight, bringing her singles record to 9-1 this year. 

Kally Kadzinski and Kelly Dowuona improved their record as a pair to 11-3 by going 3-1 at the event.  

Kadzinski also won all three of her singles matches at the tournament to bring her singles winning streak to five.  

Sophia Cunningham won both of her doubles matches at the tournament, winning with Gretta Rhodes and Morgan Tuffs 

Zuba, Chichkina, Dowuona, Kadzinski, Cunningham, Tuffs, Rhodes and Sara Jankovic all won multiple matches at the tournament. 

Saint Francis men's women's tennis return to action at the ITA Individuals On Oct. 10 through Oct. 15.
