TURNING POINT
Up two sets and with a commanding 21-12 lead, a service error by the Saints helped put the Red Flash lead in the third set into double-digits. Burns served back-to-back balls that Siena could not put into play, setting up match point. After a Red Flash error,
Drew Wallech brought the ball down in the middle of Siena's side to clinch the victory.
FLASH MOMENTS
The opening set came down to the wire, with a four-point run giving the Red Flash the win. Burns earned a kill from the attack line, breaking a 21-21 tie. Hogan then tallied a service ace, causing Siena to take a timeout. Out of the break, Burns caught the Saints out of system to earn set point. The dynamic duo of
Alyssa Irwin and
Laney Wilson blocked an attack from the far side, winning the set 25-21.
A run in the middle of set two helped keep Saint Francis ahead, eventually winning the set. A long serve by Sienna started the run at a 15-9 score. Wison blocked an attack in the middle, keeping the momentum with the home team. Hogan then served the ball into a back-row player for Siena, pushing the lead to 17-9. Burns attacked, sending the ball towards the Saints' libero, doubling Siena's score.

Hogan was second on the team in kills with nine.

Alexandra Sappia tallied 16 to lead the team, with
Emma Fenton not far behind with 14.
Burns and Sappia each recorded two service aces to lead Saint Francis.
Irwin and Wilson both had one solo and two assisted blocks on the night.
Alex Dever led the Red Flash with eight digs.
