Wicks Named NEC Prime Peformer For Third Time In Four Weeks for Saint Francis Men's Basketball

For the second straight week and the third time in four weeks, Skylar Wicks, a member of the Saint Francis men's basketball team, has been named an NEC Prime Performer for the week of November 24-30. 

Wicks averaged 18.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game in two games of the Coconut Hoops Royal Palm Division this week, but did not play in the game on Saturday. He shot 41.4 percent from the floor (12-for-29) and 78.6 percent from the free throw line (11-for-14) in the two games. He posted 16 points and seven rebounds against Belmont on Monday and then had 21 points and nine rebounds, narrowly missing his third double-double of the season on Wednesday against Troy. 

The redshirt senior leads the NEC in minutes per game (35.3), and ranks second NEC in scoring (19.0 ppg.), third in rebounding (8.7 rpg.), fifth in free throw percentage (80.0), sixth in 3-pointers per game (2.3), eighth in steals per game (1.5), ninth in assists per game (2.8). Wicks ranks 21st in minutes per game, 28th in defensive rebounds per game (6.83), 55th in rebounding, 57th in double-doubles (2), and 66th in scoring in NCAA Division I.

Along with Wicks' three Prime Performers, Zion Russell was named an NEC Prime Performer two weeks ago.
