Bradley put up four runs in the top of the sixth inning to take a 4-1 lead. With a runner on third in the top of the sixth, the Braves tallied a fifth run, preventing Saint Francis from scoring the rest of the way.
Florida International tallied six runs in the bottom of the third with three of the runs being earned. The Panthers scored two more unearned runs in the bottom of the fourth to take an 8-0 lead before tallying their ninth run in the bottom of the sixth.
FLASH MOMENTS
Olivia Kolowitz singled in the bottom of the second inning, advancing
Sofia Zielinski to third.
Hannah Bendle recorded a sacrifice fly to center field, allowing Zielinski to put the Red Flash on the board.
Annabelle Farmer hit a double to open the fifth inning against Florida International. Bendle then doubled to center field, giving Haley Brag, a pinch runner, the opportunity to score.
FLASH NUGGETS
Aliya Garroway went 2-for-3 at the plate against Bradley. Against FIU, Bendle and Farmer both went 1-for-2 with their doubles in the fifth inning.
Olivia Ulam recorded eight putouts in the first game of the day. She recorded 10 in the second.
Kolowitz pitched for 5.1 innings, allowing four runs (three earned) with two strikeouts and four walks.
Addison Deal pitched in relief, allowing one earned run and one walk.
Braly started the second game, allowing eight runs (three earned) with two strikeouts and three walks in 5.2 innings.
Madelynn Bates pitched the remainder of the sixth inning with one earned run and one walk.
