Central Connecticut State is 10-18 so far this season with a 5-1 conference record, falling 4-3 to Le Moyne at home on March 16 for their lone conference loss. The Blue Devils were picked first in the NEC Preseason Poll but currently sit tied for second with FDU and behind Saint Francis.
Kassandra (KC) Machado leads CCSU with 16 RBIs and six home runs. Catcher Reagan Vunak leads the team with 113 putouts. Alina Varga has a 3.15 ERA with 65 strikeouts and 76 walks to lead the Blue Devils pitching staff. Ava Cino and Grace Lawton earned Prime Performer for their performance this past week.

The Red Flash have the all-time advantage at 39-20-1, winning the last eight games, including last year's NEC Championship and the tournament opener.
Olivia Ulam went 2-for-4 with two runs scored in the tournament-opening win. In the title game, Saint Francis won 12-0 in five innings, completing the team's perfect 27-0 record against conference opponents.

Saint Francis swept Le Moyne in last weekend's series, winning 3-2, 15-14 and 9-0.
In the second game of Friday's doubleheader, Sofia Zielinski hit a walk-off grand slam and was joined by Annabelle Farmer, Savannah Nash and Olivia Ulam, tallying home runs. In Sunday's five-inning win, Allie Braly pitched her first career no-hitter and struck out seven batters, marking a new career high.
Savannah Nash earned NEC Player of the Week and NFCA Top Performance with Zielinski receiving her second NEC Rookie of the Week. They were joined by Braly and Ulam as Prime Performers.
