Ebensburg, Pa. – The Saint Francis University Women's Tennis team won their fifth consecutive match on Saturday afternoon with a 5-2 win over George Washington.
The Red Flash are now 12-5 on the season.

Doubles
The Red Flash claimed victory in the no. 1 and 2 doubles matches to take a 1-0 advantage over the Revolutionaries.
Diana Zuba and
Dasha Chichkina won in the no. 1 match 6-4. The pair are now 16-14 together this season. Zuba and Chichkina are both 17-15 individually in doubles action this season.
Reagen Mangan and
Sara Jankovic earned a 6-4 win in the no. 2 doubles match. The second-year tandem is 13-7 when playing together this season. Mangan and Jankovic have individual doubles records of 14-9 and 16-10 individually in doubles this season respectively.
Singles
Saint Francis won the no. 1, 2, 4 and 6 singles matches to earn their 5-2 victory over George Washington
Chichkina won 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) in her first career appearance in the no. 1 slot. Chichkina is now 20-7 in singles after her victory.
Zuba won the no. 2 singles match 6-2, 7-5. The 2024 NEC Rookie of the Year is 23-6 now on the year in singles.
Kelly Dowuona clinched the match for the second day in a row from the no. 4 slot with a 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) win. The junior is now 19-11 in singles this season.
Kally Kadzinski won the no. 6 singles match 6-3, 1-6, 1-0 (10-8) to put the exclamation mark on the Red Flash win. The Parkland, Fla. native is now 17-11 in singles this season.
Flash Facts
The Red Flash have now strung together their first five-match winning streak since 2013-14. They won eight consecutive matches that season. It is the third such streak in program history. Saint Francis had a five-match winning streak in 2009-10 and the aforementioned eight-match streak in 2013-14.
Zuba has won five singles matches in a row and 12 of her last 13.
Chichkina won her 20th career singles match with her victory over the Revolutionaries. She is 20th all-time in program history for both singles wins and overall wins (38).
Mangan and Jankovic each collected the 50th overall victory of their careers with their doubles wins against George Washington.
Saint Francis is 11-2 over their last 13 contests.
The Red Flash are now just one win away from tying the program record for most wins in a season. The record is 13 wins and was reached in the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons.
