Men's And Women's Tennis Both Earn Wins Over Stonehill

Greensburg, Pa. – The Saint Francis University men's and women's tennis teams both earned wins against Stonehill on Saturday. The men's team won 7-0 and the women's team won 5-2.

The men's team improves to 2-3 in conference play and 6-9 overall with the win, while the Red Flash women are now 13-5 on the season and have won six matches in a row. They are a perfect 6-0 in conference play.

Women's Tennis

Saint Francis 5, Stonehill 2

Doubles
The Red Flash swept the doubles matches to earn a 1-0 lead over the Skyhawks.

Diana Zuba and Dasha Chichkina won the No. 1 match in a 7-6 (11-9) battle. The pair are 17-14 together on the season, and they are both 18-15 individually on the year.

Morgan Tuffs and Kelly Dowuona won the No. 2 match 6-3. The duo is an even 5-5 together on the year. Dowuona is 18-13 in doubles individually, and Tuffs is 10-12.

Reagen Mangan and Sara Jankovic cruised to a 6-4 win in the No. 3 doubles match. The second-year tandem is 14-7 when playing together this season. Mangan and Jankovic have individual doubles records of 15-9 and 17-10 individually in doubles this season, respectively.

Singles
Saint Francis won the No. 2, 3, 5 and 6 singles matches to clinch their 5-2 victory over the Skyhawks.

Chichkina earned her 21st win of the season with a 6-2, 6-2 victory in the No. 2 slot.

Dowuona claimed a 6-1, 6-4 win in the No. 3 match. The junior is now 20-11 in singles this season.

Morgan Tuffs clinched the fourth point for Saint Francis with a 6-3, 6-3 win in the No. 5 match. The Calgary, Alberta native is now 14-8 in singles on the year.

Kally Kadzinski won the No. 6 singles match 6-2, 6-7 (5-7), 1-0 (10-6) to wrap up the day. Kadzinski is now 18-11 in singles on the season.

Men's Tennis

Saint Francis 7, Stonehill 0

Doubles
The Red Flash won the No. 1 and 2 doubles matches to take the lead over the Skyhawks.

Tyler Nguyen and Mathis Tremblay won the No. 1 match 6-4. The duo is 14-7 together on the year after their victory. Nguyen is 15-9 individually in doubles, and Tremblay is 15-7.

Kevin Kruzel and Patrick Reese earned a dominant 6-1 victory in the No. 2 match. Kruzel is 11-9 in doubles on the season, while Reese is 9-12.

Singles
Saint Francis won all six singles contests to complete their sweep of the Skyhawks.

Nguyen cruised to a 6-2, 6-0 victory in the No. 1 match. It was his seventh victory of the season and third in a row.

Alan Gonzalez earned a perfect 6-0, 6-0 win in the No. 2 match to improve to 13-10 in singles on the year.

Kevin Titus Suresh battled to a 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-8) win in the No. 3 slot. The Bengaluru, India native holds a team-best 16-7 singles record in 2025.

Tremblay won the No. 4 match 7-6 (8-6), 6-4 to make it 5-0 Saint Francis. Tremblay is now an even 6-6 in singles on the season.

Reese dominated his singles match, registering a 6-3, 6-0 win in the No. 5 position. Reese moves back to .500 after the win at 8-8 in singles.

Gregory Troyan also won in straight sets with a 6-4, 6-0 triumph to earn his fifth singles win of the year.

Flash Facts

Dowuona's two wins over Stonehill place her alone at the top of the all-time wins chart for the Red Flash. Dowuona was the second player in program history to reach the 100-win milestone and passed Alex Sachs for the most wins in program history.

Nguyen moves into a tie for fourth place in program history for doubles wins after earning his 39th career doubles victory.

Zuba notched her 75th career win via her doubles victory alongside Chichkina. The Marlboro, N.J., native is currently seventh on the all-time leaderboard for total wins.

Tremblay earned his 30th career doubles victory against the Skyhawks.

Chichkina won her 40th career match thanks to two triumphs on the day.

Troyan won his 25th career singles match against Stonehill. Reese earned his 25th career doubles victory.

Tuffs is now just one win away from her 25th career win.

Tremblay is one win away from the 50-win milestone for his career.

The women's team is 12-2 over their last 13 contests.

The women's side has now tied the program record for most wins in a season. The record was 13 wins and was reached in the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons.
