Match Recap: Men's Tennis |

Women's Tennis Advance to NEC Semifinals With Win Over Binghamton. Men Fall In Quarterfinals.

West Windsor, N.J. – The Saint Francis University men's and women's tennis teams both competed in their respective NEC Quarterfinal matchups on Thursday against Binghamton. The Red Flash women won 4-0, while the men lost 4-3.

Women's Tennis
Saint Francis 4, Binghamton 0.

Doubles
The Red Flash won the no. 2 and 3 doubles matches to jump out in front of the Bearcats.

Sara Jankovic and Reagen Mangan won the no. 2 match, 6-1. The duo have a record of 16-9 when paired together this season. Jankovic is 19-12 in doubles on the year and Mangan is 17-11.

Kelly Dowuona and Kally Kadzinski emerged victorious in the no. 3 doubles match, 7-5. The tandem improve to 15-7 together this year. Dowuona is now 21-13 in doubles and Kadzinski is 19-11.

Singles
Saint Francis won the no. 1, 2 and 6 matches to punch their semifinal ticket.

Dasha Chichkina was the first to see victory after an emphatic 6-1, 6-2 victory in the no. 2 slot. The freshman is now 24-8 in singles on the year.

Morgan Tuffs earned the third point for the Red Flash from the no. 6 match with a 6-0, 6-1 victory. The Calgary, Alberta, native improves to 15-10 on the year.

Diana Zuba clinched the match for Saint Francis with a 6-2, 6-2 win from the no. 1 position. Zuba is now 25-9 in singles this season.

Mangan, Dowuona and Kadzisnki were singles competitors 3, 4 and 5 respectively, but their matches went unfinished.

Men's Tennis
Saint Francis 3, Binghamton 4.

Doubles
The Red Flash won the no. 1 and 3 doubles matches to claim an early lead over the Bearcats.

Tyler Nguyen and Mathis Tremblay won 6-2 from the no. 1 doubles spot. The duo finish the year 15-8 together.

Alan Gonzalez and Kevin Titus Suresh won the no. 3 doubles match 6-2 as well. Gonzalez wraps up the 2025 season at 14-12 in doubles, while Titus Suresh finishes an even 13-13.

Singles
The Red Flash only managed two of the three singles wins they needed to win the match. They could only muster victories in the no. 2 and 5 matches.

Gonzalez battled to a 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 win in the no. 2 position. The sophomore ends his season at 15-12.

Patrick Reese won the no. 5 match 4-6, 6-4, 6-0 to earn his ninth singles win of the year.

Flash Facts
Gonzalez earned career wins no. 59 and 60 with his two victories on the day.

Dowuona continues to cement her place at the top of the all-time leaderboard for Saint Francis. The Brampton, Ontario, native has now garnered 109 victories in her storied career.
