Wagner is 15-23 overall with a 10-8 record in the Northeast Conference, dropping a game to Stony Brook 5-1 on Wednesday.
Payton Janicki leads the Seahawks with 19 runs scored, 32 hits, 40 total bases and seven stolen bases. Geanice Morales leads the team with 210 putouts. Wagner's pitching staff is led by Karson Zavala with a 3.41 ERA and 152 strikeouts in 135.2 innings pitched.
LAST TIME WE MET THE SEAHAWKS
Saint Francis swept Wagner on the road last season, winning 5-1, 4-0 and 7-1 and improving the Red Flash's all-time record against the Seahawks to 43-26.
Savannah Nash went 4-for-11 with three runs scored and five RBIs. In the second game of the series, Olivia Ulam went 2-for-3 with a double and one run scored.
LAST TIME OUT
The Red Flash took on Pitt on Tuesday, falling 8-0 in five innings. Up two after the first inning, the Panthers hit three home runs in the third inning, tacking on a three-run home run in the bottom of the fourth.
Savannah Nash and Sofia Zielinski each recorded a hit. Olivia Ulam led the team with five putouts. Olivia Kolowitz pitched 3.1 innings, with Madelynn Bates pitching the remainder of the fourth.
AROUND THE NEC
LIU remains the conference leader and will host CCSU, who is currently tied for second in the NEC. FDU is tied with the Blue Devils and is facing Stonehill on the road. Le Moyne is hosting Mercyhurst this weekend. Saint Francis will host Wagner and must win two of the three games in the series to clinch a tournament berth.
