LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis men's golf head coach Jonathan Kulas has announced his 2025 fall schedule. The Red Flash will compete in five events in the fall, including hosting the Red Flash Invitational for the second consecutive season on October 6-7 in Johnstown.

"I'm excited for the 2025-26 season," said Kulas. "We're bringing back a strong core this season, including four players who competed in the 2025 NEC Championship and several others who gained key experience playing in multiple events. We've also added four freshmen who bring great talent and are ready to compete for playing time right away."

For the fourth time in the last five years, Saint Francis will open the season at the Turning Stone Resort in Verona, N.Y., on August 31-September 1 for the Red Bandana Invitational.

The team will then compete in the Mercyhurst Fall Invitational. The event will be at the Lake View Country Club in North East, Md., the same course the Red Flash won the New York/Pennsylvania Quad Match and Trent Meyers earned medalist honors. Meyers was the first player to earn top billing since Austin Renz won the Bucknell Invitational on October 8, 2017, and it was the first team victory since taking the Colonial Golf Classic on October 8, 2013.

Saint Francis will then make its first appearance in the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational hosted by West Virginia University on September 29-30. The event will take place at Nemocolin Resort and the Mystic Rock Golf Course in Farmington, Pa.

For the second straight season, the Red Flash will host the Red Flash Invitational at Sunnehanna Country Club in Johnstown on October 6-7. Saint Francis held the Red Flash Invitational in the spring of 2014 and 2015. Just like the Red Bandana Invitational and the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational, the Red Flash Invitational will be a continuous 36 holes on the first day and a final round of 18 on the second day.

"We're also proud once again to host the Red Flash Invitational at Sunnehanna Country Club," said Kulas. "It's a highlight of our fall schedule and a great showcase for our program."

Sunnehanna County Club hosted the Sunnehanna Amateur for the 83rd time in June 2024. Players who have competed in the amateur have won 96 major championships, 20 times have been named PGA Player of the Year, and amassed 1,321 PGA victories. Some of the past participants in amateur include Jack Nicklaus, Fred Couples, Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods, and Scottie Scheffler.

After the home event, Saint Francis returns to the road for three-day tournaments at the Bucknell Invitational (October 12-14) and the ODU/Outer Banks Intercollegiate (October 26-28) to wrap up the fall season. Both tournaments will be 54 holes, but played over three days. It will be the eighth time since the 2017-18 season that the Red Flash will compete in the Bucknell Invitational, and the 11th time since the 2014-15 season that the team will have participated in the Old Dominion event.

"This year marks 20 years since Saint Francis won its first NEC Championship in 2006 and since Steve Foisy became our last individual champion," Kulas remarked. "With hard work, I believe we can achieve both team and individual success once again."
