Womens Tennis Heads To Quinnipiac Hidden Duals This Weekend

OPENING SERVE
Saint Francis University women's tennis continues its 2025-26 season on the road. It will travel to the Quinnipiac Hidden Duals for the second consecutive year.

LAST TIME AT THAT EVENT

Saint Francis picked up a combined 13 singles wins across the three days and eight doubles wins.  Dasha Chichkina, Reagen Mangan, and Kelly Dowuona all won their singles contests.

NEXT TIME OUT 
The Red Flash hits the road again on September 6 to 8 when the team competes at the annual Quinnipiac Invitational for the second straight season.

LAST TIME OUT  
The Red Flash team participated in the Carnegie Mellon Invitational, where they won five of the eight doubles matches and six singles victories.

ALL-TIME LEADER
Kelly Dowuona is the program's all-time leader in combined wins, totaling 110 wins in singles and doubles. Last season, she posted a 24-12 singles record and a 21-14 doubles record. Her 24 singles wins are tied for the second-most in a single season in program history. Dasha Chichkina also achieved 24 singles wins in 2024-25.

ABOUT THE COACH
Head coach Eric Hovan begins his fifth season in Loretto, having improved both the men's and women's teams. In 2023-24, he was named NEC Coach of the Year after the men's team reached the NEC Championship Game for the second time. Last season, the women's tennis team made it to the NEC Championship Game for the first time ever.
