HOW IT HAPPENED:
Night three of individual racing at the NEC Championships saw the Saint Francis Red Flash deliver another strong scoring session at the SPIRE Academy.
Sara Turner led the way with a podium finish to bring home hardware for the Red Flash, while Taylor Weth and Maura Rubio followed with key scoring performances to anchor a productive night. Saint Francis also picked up important points across the lineup, with Reegan Brown and Laryssa Webster scoring in the 100-yard butterfly, Katie Webster adding points in the 200-yard freestyle, and Kathryn Tanis and Abby King contributing scoring swims in the 100-yard breaststroke.
The session closed on a high note in the 400-yard medley relay, where the Red Flash posted an SFU all-time top-10 performance, adding valuable points and momentum heading into the final day. Following the conclusion of the session, Saint Francis sits fourth overall in the team standings.

The NEC Championships conclude tomorrow with the final day of competition at SPIRE. The Red Flash will look to finish strong and close out their final NEC Championship appearance with momentum as postseason racing comes to a close.
