TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
In Game 1, the turning point came in the bottom of the second inning when Maine scored seven runs on four hits, putting the game out of reach early. FLASH MOMENTSÂ
Despite playing from behind throughout Game 1, sophomore Morgan Pasternak drove in her team-leading 14th RBI with a single to right field, bringing in sophomore Grace Dias. Later in the inning, sophomore Sofia Zielinski recorded a sacrifice fly to drive in junior Aliya Garroway, cutting the deficit to 7-2. The Red Flash struck again at the top of the seventh inning when Zielinski homered for the third time this season, further reducing Maine's lead to 7-4.
In Game 2, the Red Flash entered the top of the third inning trailing 1-0 before Zielinski recorded her fourth RBI of the afternoon with a single to center field, scoring Garroway and tying the game at one run apiece. The inning wasn't over; freshman Olivia Hood then singled through the right side of the infield to score Pasternak, giving Saint Francis its first lead of the afternoon, 2-1.

Junior Marianne Labelle recorded two hits and one walk while scoring twice in her six at-bats.
